One of the most experiential and transformative events at 41 Portland Place was our House of Peroni; 2 month long residencies in July and November 2013. After 6 months of planning, a new wave of contemporary Italian style was launched.
The venue was turned in to an Art gallery, 2 restaurant spaces serving Michelin starred food from the Costardi Brothers and 2 eclectic bars. A fully immersive experience representing the very best in modern Italian style, design, art, music and food with exhibitions and installations.
The month of July transported visitors to the mansion houses of Rome, a psychedelic space by installation artist Ludovica Gioscia in the Laurie Landeau, a contemporary art gallery in the council chamber and ultra modern bar in the reception room. As for November, the iconic film and fashion of Italy was in the spotlight.
“House of Peroni is one of the most experiential and transformative events at 41 Portland Place so far”

Award-winning architect and co-designer Andrea Morgante designed the space with two stunning bars serving a drinks menu developed by master mixologist Gerry Calabrese and an exclusive cinema in our Wolfson Suite serving fine dining to match the senses of the critically acclaimed film The Great Beauty.
