Fellows of the Academy of Medical Sciences
One of the benefits of having our own dedicated headquarters at 41 Portland Place is the facilities we can offer to our Fellows. Fellows are welcome to use the Jean Shanks Library or any other available space from 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
There is a shower and changing room available to Fellows in the basement. We also have a secure bicycle storage in one of the vaults at the front of the building. Please speak to our lovely receptionist Gabby if you require access or assistance with any facilities.
Our headquarters at 41 Portland Place is a perfect venue for Fellows to hold meetings, seminars, dinners and networking receptions, with both modern and period rooms that are able to accommodate anything from 6 to 150 people.
Profits generated through venue hire of 41 Portland Place are used to fund activities run by the Academy to ensure research improves health.
